Uz. Ahmed Shifau is a co-founder of Public Interest Law Centre. Uz. Ahmed Shifau has received a Masters Degree in Shariah and Law (specialized in criminal law) and Undergraduate Degree in Law from Villa College of Maldives.

His expertise is mainly focused in employment, and constitutional law matters. He is dedicated to transforming the civil justice system and assisted numerous people in various employment and other human rights matters.
